WALLESS advised in the sale of solar energy development projects to Enefit Green AS

The renewable energy sector is one of the fastest growing in the world. According to WALLESS Estonia Head of Energy Law Edgar-Kaj Velbri, the market for renewable energy producers and development projects is incredibly active, with several prominent investors actively seeking investment projects. Renewable energy projects have increased significantly over the past few years for many well-known reasons: to use as much green energy as possible, to increase the efficiency of energy-consuming and energy-producing devices and systems, to contribute to reducing climate change, and many more.

In the first nine months of 2022, WALLESS Estonia has advised on four solar energy deals with more than 200 MW capacity. The latest deal was advised by WALLESS attorneys Kaisa Üksik and Andres Siigur, the sale of solar energy development projects with a planned total capacity of 165 MW to Enefit Green AS.
