WALLESS Assisted Affidea with Acquisition of Medicinos Paslaugų Grupė

With the help of WALLESS, Affidea has successfully completed the acquisition of UAB Medicinos Paslaugų Grupė (MPG) expanding its presence in Lithuania from 11 to 23 centers. WALLESS team advised on the legal matters of the purchase of the shares from LitCapital I KŪB fund. With this investment, Affidea’s network in Lithuania has grown to provide medical care to over 250 000 patients every year and to employ over 420 dedicated health professionals out of whom approximately 200 are coming from MPG. Affidea is the leading provider of diagnostic imaging, outpatient and cancer care services announces in Europe, operating in 16 countries. MPG is an important private healthcare service provider in Lithuania, with a wide network of 12 outpatient and diagnostic imaging clinics in eight cities across the country. MPG provides a broad range of medical services from vaccination and occupational services (through its affiliate UAB Endemik) to diagnostic imaging (MRI, CT and X-ray), laboratory, specialist consultations and health checks.
