Data we collect and its purpose. For the purpose of delivery of informational newsletters, publications and / or marketing communications to you we collect the following information about you: name, surname, e-mail address, organization, position, country, subscribed informational publications and access thereto. The said information will be stored until you unsubscribe to the informational publications. For the purposes of handling your queries sent to the e-mail provided below we collect the following information about you: name, surname, e-mail address, subject matter and text of your query. The said information will be stored for 2 (two) years following the receipt of your query.

Automatically collected data. Systems of Website Operator may also collect information about your browser or mobile device automatically. We may use cookies to help us understand your activity on our Services and improve Website content. Data we collect automatically includes the type of web browser or mobile device, your operating system, your IP address and general geographical location.

Such legitimate interests are administrative functions within WALLESS law firms, marketing activities, and complying with your requests for information. Each WALLESS law firm will process your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation, other applicable laws of the state of its registration.  

Your rights. You have rights to: (i) access the information each WALLESS law firm processes about you, (ii) have such information corrected, updated, erased or blocked, (iii) receive a copy of your information, (iv) to object to its processing activities. To exercise these rights, you should make a written request as described below. You also have a right to lodge a complaint with a the relevant Data Protection Authority, i.e. either the Lithuanian State Data Protection Inspectorate, the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate, or the Latvian Data State Inspectorate.

Data transfer. Any information that you provide, including any data collected by using cookies, may be shared with and processed by each WALLESS law firm and third parties which provide any WALLESS law firm with services and act on its behalf. If expressly required by law, information about you can also be shared with competent public authorities.

Data protection measures. WALLESS implements appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect information about you against accidental or unlawful destruction or accidental loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure or access, and against all other unlawful forms of processing.

Other Websites. The Website may include links to the websites that are owned, published and maintained by any third party. The Website Operator does not undertake any responsibility for the accuracy or reliability of any such third party websites.

Applicable Law and Jurisdiction. The conditions are applied and interpreted in accordance with the legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania. All disputes arising from the Terms are settled in the courts of the Republic of Lithuania.

Website Changes. The Website Operator may, at his sole discretion, change, modify, add or remove any portion of the Website, the Website content and / or these Terms, in part or in its entirety, at any time. Any changes to the Terms are effective from the date of their publication. You undertake to review these Terms periodically to become aware of any changes.
