Vilnius accelerates education infrastructure: 5 kindergartens and 4 schools in 3 years

Vilnius is building its future through long-term investment in new schools and kindergartens. This project will deliver new education capacity where it is needed most and set a stronger foundation for the city’s next stage of growth.

This is the first model of its kind in the Baltic region for delivering and financing public education infrastructure. Backed by long-term institutional financing from the European Investment Bank (EIB) and the Nordic Investment Bank (NIB), it is implemented through a municipality-owned structure that brings construction and long-term management under one framework.
