Since 2016, managing partner Piret Kergandberg has been advisor to the Swedish organization of the the victims of the passenger ferry Estonia and their relatives (Stiftelsen Estoniaoffren och Anhör). In October 2019, an Estonian court ruled in favor of the victims, obliging the Government of the Republic to reconsider the request of the relatives to re-determine the causes of the sinking of the ferry. Both the Estonian and Swedish governments have since taken certain steps to establish the facts. The Estonian passenger ferry sank in the Baltic Sea on 28 September 1994 and 852 people died.
