Advising Skogssällskapet on winding up its business activities in Estonia

WALLESS team advised Swedish forestry group Skogssällskapet on winding up its business activities in Estonia. Skogssällskapet was founded in 1912 and it owns thousands of hectares of forest land in the Baltics and the Nordic countries. In Estonia Skogssällskapet owned ca 800 hectares. Our assignement involved developing general exit strategy for Estonia, advise on the sale of assets, tax issues and liquidation of Estonian subsidiaries.
