WALLESS Participated in the “Aggression in and Around us” Conference

WALLESS Counsel Karolyn Krillo participated in the conference “Aggression in and around us” organized by Tartu University Hospital, the largest health care provider in Estonia. The conference was attended by more than 300 people from the fields of medicine and justice. Karolyn’s presentation focused on civil procedure concerning the placement of a person in a closed institution for involuntary emergency psychiatric care. Karolyn gave an overview of the case-law of the Estonian Supreme Court regarding this topic.
