WALLESS apžvelgia įskaitymą, kaip prievolės pabaigos pagrindą. Įskaitymas – vienašalis sandoris, jam pakanka vienos prievolės šalies pareiškimo, kuriuo apie įskaitymą pranešama kitai šaliai. Prievolė pasibaigia nepriklausomai nuo kitos prievolės šalies valios ir požiūrio į tokį kontrahento veiksmą, jei kontrahentas praneša apie šį veiksmą ir egzistuoja visos įskaitymo sąlygos.
