National Cybersecurity Law came into effect on September 1st

To strengthen cybersecurity in Latvia and implement the requirements of the European Union’s Network and Information Systems Security Directive, the National Cybersecurity Law came into effect on September 1.

It is expected that companies to which the law requirements apply, will have to develop the following documents:
• Cybersecurity Policy
• Catalogue of ICT Resources and Information Systems
• Cyber Risk Management and ICT Business Continuity Plan
• Cyber Incident Log
