General Financing Received Specialised Bank License with Assistance from WALLESS

On June 25, 2019, the European Central Bank issued a specialised bank license to UAB General Financing. This is the fourth specialised bank license issued in Lithuania since the introduction of specialised bank regime in the beginning of 2017 and the third one received with assistance of WALLESS team.

WALLESS team, that walked the client throughout the entire licensing process, consisted of Partner Joana Baublytė-Kulvietė and Associate Partner Lina Radavičienė with the support from Senior Associate Simona Kišūnaitė and other team members.

UAB General Financing has been operating in the market since 2005. The company was part of Societe Generale group from 2008 to 2013, and now is a part of Marginalen financial group based in Sweden. Utilising the well-known and respected brand name the newly licensed bank will continue to operate in consumer lending field and accept deposits from the general public.
