WALLESS advised HeidelbergCement Group and its local subsidiary Kunda Nordic Cement on a complex transaction involving separation of Kunda Port business and its sale to BMLG group

We have advised, in cooperation with Mannheimer Swartling, on the carve-out and sale of Kunda port (the seventh busiest cargo port in Estonia). The assignment included extensive regulatory advice related to transfer of port operation activities, complex corporate advice related to separation of port operations and port real estate into separate vehicles, and negotiations with bidders. This was the second major international M&A deal in the port logistics sector for our firm in 2018.
