#Walless Tax Cookies: One day on a site in Estonia? You still need this.
Did you know? In Estonia, even the tiniest little construction site visit comes with a special rule! If you send even one employee, and even for just 1-2 days – yes, even for simple installation work – there’s something important to do.
The company must register with the Estonian Tax and Customs Board, and that employee needs a personal entrance card. This all applies also to foreign companies who send their employees to Estonia.
Although this requirement may seem funny, it is actually a serious matter. All entries and exits will be recorded, and construction sites are often jointly checked by police, tax, employment, and other authorities. Better to be compliant!
