WALLESS advised Palmako on the acquisition of Jūrės Medis
A strong addition to Palmako’s timber portfolio: the Estonian wood products manufacturer has acquired Lithuanian glulam manufacturer Jūrės Medis, one of the country’s largest producers of glued laminated timber structures.
The acquisition brings larger and more technically demanding timber structures into Palmako’s product range. It also adds engineering expertise and production capacity to the group. The deal is another step in Palmako’s long-term growth strategy, with the focus on higher value-added wood products and further international expansion.
WALLESS advised Palmako on the acquisition, bringing together our Estonian and Lithuanian teams. The Estonian team included Partners Rolan Jankelevitsh, Kuldar-Jaan Torokoff and Associate Laura Melk. In Lithuania, the team was led by Associate Partner Šarūnas Basijokas.
