Sintija Radionova participates in the 9th Defence Industry Advisory Council meeting

The defence sector in Latvia is currently experiencing rapid development, and continuous dialogue between industry and public institutions plays an important role in supporting its further growth. At the 9th Defence Industry Advisory Council meeting, industry representatives together with the Ministry of Defence and Miltech discussed several key issues shaping the sector’s development. 

The discussions covered future defence funding perspectives at the European Union level, supply reform, as well as other initiatives relevant to strengthening the defence industry. The meeting also touched upon the upcoming Drone Summit in Latvia on 27 May, which will bring together industry experts, companies and policymakers to discuss the development of unmanned technologies and their role in security.
