Less bureaucracy in construction
Significant changes have been introduced in the construction sector, promising clearer processes and fewer uncertainties in day-to-day work.
The amendments to the Construction Law that entered into force on 1 November bring more clarity to public consultation procedures, the commissioning of buildings in co-ownership, technical requirements and the placement of construction boards. The rules for underground utility networks have also been refined, and in certain cases it will now be possible to apply a more favourable procedure than the one set out in planning documents.
