A seminar on the civil liability of board members was held

WALLESS senior associate Evelin Lisett Ratnik explained the civil liability of board members in an online seminar last week. The audience included board members and chairpersons, CEOs and lawyers from different companies from healthcare, financial and manufacturing sectors.

Which legal provisions should be followed when performing the duties of a board member and when the performance of duties can lead to a personal liability, was at the focus of the event. Evelin also presented the views expressed in case law on the liability of board members. The training was hosted by the Estonian Conference Centre.
