A Lithuanian laser startup has secured the first investment from Taiwan

2022 11 08

Our client Lithuanian venture capital fund Iron Wolf Capital could offer a masterclass on how to shoot and hit a bull’s eye.

After the initial seed investment by Iron Wolf Capital, ultrashort pulse laser manufacturer Litilit became the first Lithuanian startup to raise funding from Taiwan fund manager Taiwania Capital. The 3.7 million Eur Phase A funding comes from its 200 million Eur Eastern and Central European fund, created to develop Taiwan’s economic ties with Europe, Lithuania being one of the priority markets.

The startup will use this investment to further develop their femtosecond laser products that are used worldwide in multiple industries and the medicine sector, Litilit has shared with Verslo žinios. The investment will surely bring even more global attention to the entire Lithuanian laser ecosystem.

WALLESS team advising Iron Wolf Capital included partner Andrius Ivanauskas and senior associate Domas Šileika.
