But what conditions is real estate development facing today? Regulation is becoming stricter, and the legislative process is not slowing down. The construction reform introduced in November 2024 has created disruption and raised many questions for real estate development. While adjustments are already underway, they are also bringing new questions of their own. The Ministry of Environment sees these challenges and is working to improve information systems and the quality of services delivered by its institutions. These were among the key points discussed in the opening session with Dr Evaldas Klimas, Partner at WALLESS, and Povilas Poderskis, Chancellor of the Ministry of Environment of Lithuania.
