WALLESS contributed to the project Justice Beyond Borders

The Clooney Foundation for Justice has launched the Justice Beyond Borders Project – a project that is a part of their work on accountability, initially driven by the context of the current war in Ukraine. The online mapping tool shows how existing laws around the world can be used to obtain justice for the most serious international crimes.

WALLESS Partner Erki Kergandberg and Junior Associate Mileen Arbma in Estonia, Partners Povilas Žukauskas and dr. Simona Drukteinienė with Senior Associate Indrė Kupcikevičiūtė in Lithuania, as well as Senior Associate Igors Dambrāns and Legal Assistant Kristers Ģirts Kronis in Latvia, have provided a review of the Baltic countries’ profiles for this project.
