WALLESS at the Vilnius Arbitration Day 2025!
Where does impartiality end and bias begin? At this year’s VILNIUS ARBITRATION DAY, WALLESS Partner Gediminas Dominas, FCIArb moderated the panel “Fifty Shades of Bias: Where is the Rubicon of Impartiality?” – a discussion on one of arbitration’s most sensitive questions.
The panel brought together leading arbitration voices – Caroline Falconer | SCC Arbitration Institute, Pawel Pietkiewicz | Greenberg Traurig, LLP, Andrew P. | Voldgiftsinstituttet – The Danish Institute of Arbitration, Volodymyr Yaremko | Mayer Brown, and Jerker Kjellander | Vinge – for a conversation on how professional roles, personal ties, and institutional practices can shape perceptions of neutrality, and where the line must be drawn to maintain trust in arbitration.
WALLESS team members Tomas Balčiūnas, Sandis Bērtaitis, and Gediminas Dominas had the pleasure of being part of Vilnius Arbitration Day, and we thank the panelists and the whole community for such an insightful exchange.
