WALLESS at the 12th Customs Practitioners Conference
Clear communication and cooperation are central to making EU sanctions work without slowing down exports. Businesses should engage openly with regulatory authorities. In return, these institutions should look for ways to simplify requirements for companies, helping them stay competitive in EU markets.
This was the focus of WALLESS’s contribution to the 12th Customs Practitioners Conference | Muitinės praktikų konferencija, organised by the Association of Customs Practitioners | Muitinės praktikų asociacija. WALLESS Expert Andrius Venius moderated a discussion on economic sanctions implementation, during which Senior Associate Ignas Urbonas spoke about the key legal and regulatory challenges businesses face when applying EU sanctions in practice.
