WALLESS is a legal partner in developing Estonia’s Defence Industry Park
WALLESS is honoured to serve as the legal advisor to the Estonian Centre for Defence Investments (ECDI) in the development of Estonia’s national defence industry park. This is a strategically important project that aims to establish an approximately 178-hectare industrial park in Pärnu County, designed to enable the production of ammunition, explosives, and their components.
The creation of the defence industry park is a key part of the government’s broader strategy to strengthen national defence capabilities and support the development of the defence industry. The spatial planning and Strategic Environmental Assessment processes are currently underway, with the aim to commence production no later than early 2027.
WALLESS brings over 15 years of legal experience in the defence sector, equipping our team with a deep understanding of the legal and operational complexities inherent in projects of this scale. We apply this knowledge to ensure the success of the defence industry park.
Our role covers legal advisory throughout the entire lifecycle of the project, including the preparation and execution of the selection process. The WALLESS team is led by Partner Merit Lind-Tsoganoff, with contributions from Partner Edgar-Kaj Velbri, Counsel Katrin Alliksaar, Attorney Kent Märjamaa, Partner Andres Siigur, and Senior Associate Liina Käis.
