WALLESS advised Millerhawk on the acquisition of Bauhof and A1000 retail properties returning to Estonian ownership after 15 years
After nearly six months of negotiations, Estonian investment company Millerhawk has acquired a portfolio of four major retail properties from a Swedish investor. The transaction includes three Bauhof stores (located in Haapsalu, Kuressaare, and Valga) and an A1000 store in Võru, totalling 14,300 square metres of fully leased commercial space.
“This is more than just an investment – it’s part of our story of reclaiming local real estate,” said Marko Kull, Member of the Board at Millerhawk, referring to the properties’ original Estonian roots and their return to domestic ownership.
The transaction was legally advised by WALLESS Partner Minni-Triin Park, alongside Senior Associates Liina Käis and Margus Kõiva, who supported the client throughout the entire process.
This deal is significant – it reflects growing confidence in Estonia’s regional retail market and highlights the increasing role of domestic capital in the commercial real estate landscape.
