Sandis Bērtaitis appointed as Latvia’s Representative to ICSID Panels
Latvia has appointed representatives to the Panels of Arbitrators and of Conciliators of the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID).
By an Order of the Cabinet of Ministers dated 10 March 2026, WALLESS Partner and Attorney-at-Law Sandis Bērtaitis has been appointed as one of the authorised representatives of the Republic of Latvia to the ICSID Panels of Conciliators and Arbitrators.
ICSID is a member of the World Bank Group created in 1966 to provide a neutral forum for resolving disputes between states and foreign investors. Established under the ICSID Convention, it is the leading institution for investor–state arbitration and conciliation, administering the majority of global investment cases.
