Panel discussion: key topics in arbitral award review and enforcement
Arbitration works best when courts provide reasonable, balanced and proportionate oversight – a point WALLESS Partner Gediminas Dominas noted as essential for upholding the quality, credibility, and overall standing of the arbitration system. This idea was among the key themes discussed at the seminar “Interplay Between Courts and Arbitration” organised by Lietuvos advokatūra, Lietuvos Aukščiausiasis Teismas, and Vilniaus universitetas Teisės fakultetas.
The panel, moderated by Rimantas Simaitis and joined by Vytautas Nekrošius, Solveiga Palevičienė, and Gediminas, also touched on the practical boundaries of non-arbitrable disputes and the importance of clear, predictable rules.
