Lithuania is stepping up its commitment to diversity and inclusion on company boards. Large companies will be required to ensure that under-represented gender in management roles hold at least 33% of these positions, by June 30, 2026.
Key strategies for board diversity and governance were discussed at the recent responsible business conference “Sustainability Course” by WALLESS Managing Partner of Lithuania Dovilė Burgienė, Independent Board Member & Chairperson Jurgita Petrauskienė, Ignitis grupė Chief Organisational Development Officer Živile Skibarkienė, and Baltic Institute of Corporate Governance President Rytis Ambrazevičius.
