AI at work: Alina Makovska on balancing innovation and responsibility at SDG Forumas 2024
The impact of new technologies and artificial intelligence on working relationships, employees’ motivation trends, the causes and prevention of burnout at work. This has been discussed at the SDG Forumas “Work and recreation 2024”, where managers, HR professionals, and legal experts gathered to find new solutions for modern workplaces.
At the event, WALLESS partner Alina Makovska highlighted the need to balance AI’s efficiency with the protection of sensitive information. Only 40% of Lithuanian employees use AI tools, but protecting sensitive data poses a challenge. During the presentation, Alina suggested clear AI policies, data sensitivity classification, and training for responsible AI use. With AI reshaping job roles, both creating and eliminating positions, the need for reskilling is inevitable.
