WALLESS successfully defends building permit for major development project in Jūrmala

WALLESS represented a real estate developer, ensuring that the building permit for the construction of an apartment hotel complex in Jūrmala remains in force.

On March 24, 2025, the Senate of the Republic of Latvia issued a favorable decision for the WALLESS client, upholding the validity of the building permit. The applicants’ request to revoke the permit was rejected, allowing the development to proceed as planned.

The client was represented by WALLESS Partner Sandis Bērtaitis and Senior Associate Laura Baumane, whose effective advocacy secured a critical win and enabled continued progress on the project.
