DPD Latvija launches the country’s first robotised parcel sorting line
DPD Latvija has launched the country’s first robotised parcel sorting line, a system that can sort parcels into up to 400 delivery directions and significantly improve processing speed and accuracy. More than sixty autonomous robots are already in operation, helping handle the growing shipment volume and ensuring parcels reach couriers pre-sorted.
More than EUR 1.5 million have been invested in the new platform, strengthening DPD Latvia’s capacity to manage rapid e-commerce growth and ensure a smoother, more reliable delivery flow.
WALLESS provided legal support throughout the process, including the preparation and negotiation of the agreements with the equipment and software suppliers.
